Her Only Sin is Being a Girl

In Afghanistan, girls cannot go to university, simply because they are female. In collaboration with Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan), CFUW-Ottawa/University Women Helping Afghan Women (UWHAW) will help these girls by providing access to online education where they can continue their studies. Your donation will provide laptops, internet access and power supplies to female students who were formerly attending Gawharshad University (Kabul) and to other girls in Afghanistan. We can help them and we must. 

How to Donate

If you would like to donate, there are three options to do so. Many thanks for your kindness and generosity.

i.Online at a secure site (using a credit card or Paypal): https://give-can.keela.co/uwhaw. A charitable tax receipt will be emailed immediately.

ii. By e-transfer to the email address: accounting@cw4wafghan.ca.  (Please include a note in the e-transfer specifying that the donation is for the “UWHAW RCA campaign”, and include your postal mailing address so that a charitable tax receipt can be mailed).

iii.By cheque made out to “Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan”, PO Box 15007, Aspen Woods, Calgary, AB T3H 0N8. (Please specify that the donation is for the “UWHAW RCA campaign”, and include your postal mailing address so that a charitable tax receipt can be mailed).
