Scholarship Trust Fund

CFUW-Ottawa started the Scholarship Trust Fund in 1983 with seed money of $4000.  Over the last twenty-seven years, the assets have grown to over $535,000.  During that period, almost $330,000 has been given out to support the university education of many worthy students.  We can feel justifiably proud to have accomplished this level of support, especially as providing meaningful assistance to women to further their education becomes more expensive every year.

The trustees of the Fund are extremely grateful to the many Club members who annually support our fundraising appeal.  Over the years, individual members and interest groups have generously participated in many creative events that have contributed to the Fund.  We welcome enquiries on charitable giving, including estate planning and bequests and the donation of stocks and securities. We also appreciate donations in Memoriam.  For information about making a donation to the Scholarship Trust Fund please see Scholarships and Donating.
